Marijuana Information: American Academy of Pediatrics
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Substance Use and Prevention created a webpage dedicated to information on marijuana.
The webpage provides great resources not only for pediatricians, but other youth services professionals and parents.
Marijuana information provided by AAP include:
· Clinical Report – Counseling Parents and Teens About Marijuana Use in the Era of Legalization of Marijuana (highlighted in a previous blog by Prevention Plus Wellness: http://preventionpluswellness.com/2017/04/counseling-parents-marijuana/)
Along with Prevention Plus Wellness, the American Academy of Pediatrics is a great resource for evidence-informed information about the risks of marijuana use to youth and young adults.
