A paper published in Neurology outlined ethical issues associated with medical marijuana use in pediatric epilepsy.
The author’s concluded that parents have the right and responsibility to make medical decisions for their children based on their own understanding of harm and benefit.
They also stated that both the harm and benefit of cannabis is currently unclear, and this should be shared honestly with families.
