A new article published in JAMA (2022) discusses the immediate and critical health and safety risks of hemp-derived cannabis products, particularly to youth.
All prevention professionals and organizations should educate their communities regarding these risks and lobby for policy changes to control the manufacture, access, distribution and use of these products, particularly among children, youth, young adults and pets.
