Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW) is collaborating with WellScreen to bring PPW’s unique evidence-based “whole-health” brief substance use prevention interventions that promote healthy lifestyle behaviors and mental health onto WellScreen’s online technology for screening for alcohol, tobacco, and drug use, including opioid consumption.
WellScreen is based on the Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) protocol and uses evidence-based screeners like CRAFFT and ASSIST in one simple, tablet-enabled interface.
WellScreen provides a step-by-step, user-friendly system and is customizable to meet your unique workflow needs.
SBIRT is eligible for insurance reimbursement. Eligible providers may receive reimbursement for each individual screening as well as every brief intervention performed with adolescent or adult patients.
Lastly, WellScreen can be used in many settings, including school-based health centers, walk-in and urgent care clinics, primary care offices, hospitals, college health clinics, justice programs, child welfare systems, and wherever there are adolescent or adult patients.
This collaboration enhances PPW's evidence-based prevention program by utilizing WellScreen's technology to walk practitioners through the screening and brief intervention process. Both PPW and WellScreen are committed to promoting well-being and improving lives.
