Live Online Certified Program Implementer Training

The Live Online Certified Program Implementer Training is another option we provide for busy professionals to receive the training they need to implement any of our evidence-based and evidence-informed Prevention Plus Wellness Programs. 

This 5-hour training session is ideal for individual professionals and comes with a 3-year certification.  

The training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to effectively implement a selected Prevention Plus Wellness Program. 

This training consists of three continuous parts: 

  1. Live trainer led: 1.5 hours
  2. Individual practice: 2 hours
  3. Live trainer led: 1.5 hours 

Training goals include:

Learn about the need for programs that integrate wellness promotion with substance use prevention, as well as Prevention Plus Wellness Program components, models, research and implementation steps.

  • Learn how to effectively use the nation’s only single-session screening and brief interventions which prevent substance use while promoting physically active and healthy lifestyles, positive self-images, and self-regulation skills among youth and young adults.
  • Develop knowledge, skills and confidence to implement, or train others to implement, the evidence-based SPORT and InShape Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW) Programs or any of our evidence-informed PPW programs with fidelity.
  • Learn how to monitor the quality of program implementation and conduct a feasible pre-posttest assessment of program outcomes.  

Pre-training technology requirements: 

  1. Computer with internet access and any webbrowser, e.g., Chrome
  2. Computer or land line audio capability
  3. Built-in or attached microphone
  4. Headset or earbuds with microphone (needed to speak)
  5. Program manual in hand
  6. Quiet workspace
  7. Recommended land line computer connection

      Cost: 

      $249/person plus a program manual.  Order the Live Online Program Implementer’s Training and specify which Prevention Plus Wellness Program(s) you want training.
