Learning Objective: Participants will gain the knowledge, confidence and skills to set and monitor weekly goals to increase critical health habits aimed at improving mental and physical wellbeing, resiliency, and performance.
Participants will be able to:
1) Complete a wellness behavior screening survey to become aware of current health risk and protective behaviors associated with improving wellness and resilience,
2) Reflect on personal health behaviors, how risk behaviors harm achieving desired healthy behaviors and future images, and identify concrete actions to improve health habits, and
3) Set and monitor weekly goals to avoid risk behaviors and increase healthy behaviors to improve mental and physical wellbeing, resiliency, and performance.
The InShape Wellness Lifestyle Training Program is an evidence-informed strategy designed to enhance physical and mental wellness and resiliency among adults, including behavioral health professionals at risk for engaging in unhealthy behavioral patterns. Attendees will achieve the stated objectives through a combination of learning experiences, including viewing a PowerPoint slide presentation, reflecting on personal health habits, and completing a multi-health behavior goal plan. Time will be allocated for questions and answers and sharing personal health goals.
