Healthy Lifestyle Guidelines for Youth Now Include Screen Time

The popular Healthy Lifestyle Guidelines for Youth Goal Setting page on Prevention Plus Wellness’s website has been expanded to include recommendations for youth and young adult/adult screen time. 

Healthy lifestyle guidelines are now provided for seven critical wellness areas, including physical activity, healthy nutrition, getting adequate sleep, controlling stress, goal setting, alcohol and drug use, and screen time. 

Each lifestyle behavior individually, but especially taken together, provide young people, prevention and health specialists and parents with research-based guidelines for helping youth and young adults set and monitor goals for enhancing their physical and mental well-being, success and happiness.
