Resources for Promoting Healthy Behaviors to Enhance Youth Drug Use Prevention & Wellness

Promoting healthy behaviors, particularly physical activity and sports, breakfast and other healthy food consumption, sleep, and use of relaxation strategies improve and expand the efficacy of drug use prevention for young people while enhancing their mental and physical wellbeing.

Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW) provides a wide range of resources to promote healthy behaviors among youth and young adults for enhancing alcohol and drug use/misuse prevention and wellness.

These include single and multi-session screening and brief interventions that can be implemented to young people individually or in groups that target various drug use/misuse, including alcohol, marijuana, e-cigarette, opioid and others.

We also have one-session parent training programs for preventing youth substance use/misuse and promoting healthy behaviors.

Plus, we offer multi-media programs addressing substance use/misuse prevention and healthy habit promotion.
