Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW) Screening, Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Online is an interactive, secure, web-based practice for clinic, school and community settings

PPW-SBIRT Online is a four-step evidence-based prevention and early intervention-focused process of screening, feedback, goal setting and referral to treatment designed to prevent and reduce substance use/misuse (e.g., alcohol, e-cigarette, marijuana, opioids, and others) and promote healthy lifestyle behaviors, including regular physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and stress control for protecting and improving the mental and physical wellbeing of youth and adults.

PPW-SBIRT Online includes the validated CRAFFT screening tool for adolescents and the ASSIST-Lite screener for adults to identify high-risk individuals for referral to treatment.

PPW-SBIRT Online takes 30-45 minutes for a youth or adult to complete.  If needed, a provider can assist the participate in completing the goal plan to avoid substance use and increase healthy lifestyle behaviors, as well as refer those screened as high risk for further assessment, counseling, or treatment. 

PPW-SBIRT Online presents the identical content and PowerPoint slides of the original PPW program, but in a virtual format.

In addition, the PPW-SBIRT Online Program is fully narrated and includes quiz questions to engage participating youths and adults.

Simply provide participants with the program link to take the program.  Include online pretest and posttest survey links before and after the program to evaluate its effectiveness.

Cost: $1,999 per year for one site.  

Addition sites are $500 each.
